Calgary Rakushinkan is a dojo located in North Calgary that teaches Aikido, sword arts and other traditional Japanese martial arts. Classes are available to kids, teens and adults.
Rakushinkan is unique in its approach to the modern art of Aikido in that it is based in sword theory. Our martial arts are also informed by our practice of kenjutsu, iaijutsu and the ancestor art of Aikido - Daito Ryu. Further, we present “aiki” as something real and tangible. We make it attainable through your unique training meat gods of both empty-handed practice and sword methods.
